Stone Soup Theatre offers two types of programs for kids:

Preregistration for auditions is required with a $100.00 deposit. This deposit will be returned if the child is not cast. We will do our best to cast ALL youth who audition. To request an audition, please read the information below, then click "Sign Up" at the bottom of this page.
Our winter Performance Workshop this year will be "Macbeth." One of Shakespeare's best known plays, and his shortest tragedy, Macbeth’s brief taste of success plants a dark seed of yearning in his brain, beginning a web of intrigue and murder that leaves no one untouched. Experience witches, magic, romance and swordplay as young actors are transformed by the power of the Bard’s text and themes.
| Class | Rehearsal | Shows | Ages | Tuition |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| "Macbeth" | Fri. 4–6:30pm; Sat.10–1:30pm. Jan. 29–Apr. 9 | Apr. 9th–18th | 8-20 | $470 |

Stone Soup Theatre auditions are meant to bring the best out of student actors. Our goal is to cast all kids who audition. Occasionally we will recommend a class if an auditioner does not seem ready for performing. The main thing is to do your best and we will do our best to make you feel comfortable.
It is important to note that while "Macbeth" has only two rehearsals per week, we will add rehearsals when it comes closer to opening.
Thank you for your interest in Stone Soup Theatre.
